Description

This is a hybrid online/in-person course.  CDPH requires that the exam and hands-on portion of the class must be done in person.

The lecture will be a virtual meeting through Zoom.  Please make sure the device you sign into has audio and video capabilities for the virtual class time.  You will receive an email confirmation with a link to access the online training. 

The purpose of this course is to increase and enhance skills and knowledge necessary to perform your job function as it relates to your certification. To accomplish this goal, the following topics will be covered:

· Regulatory review and any updates
· Update on new technologies and techniques
· Discussion questions using “real world” scenarios
 
To successfully complete this course, you have to pass the course exam and hands-on assessment with a grade of 70% or better.

Effective July 1, 2020 – California Department of Public Health has implemented a mandatory $36 processing fee per student for lead courses in California. This is included in course fee.
