Online Asbestos Operations & Maintenance Refresher
The Asbestos Operations and Maintenance Refresher Course meets the AHERA regulatory requirements and OSHA training requirements for individuals that disturb small amounts of asbestos containing material incidental to routine maintenance work.
Description
This is an annual training and meets OSHA Class III training requirements of individuals that disturb small amounts of asbestos in the course of normal work activities.
Topics include:
- Background information about asbestos
- Health effects
- Recognition of asbestos containing materials
- Regulatory requirements
- Respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment
- O&M guidelines and maintenance related removal
Once you start the course, you must complete it within 14 days
Prerequisites
Proof of completion of a prior O&M training course must be provided prior to taking course. The course must be within one year of the course expiration date. You must email a copy of your previous training certificate.
