EPA Lead Renovator Training (RRP)

EPA requires all contractors that work in most pre-1978 housing and child-occupied facilities become an EPA-Certified Renovator by taking the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) course.

The RRP Rule also requires the firm also become certified by EPA.  This is an online application and can be obtained prior to taking the RRP class.  See https://www.epa.gov/lead/lead-renovation-repair-and-painting-program for more information.

Both firm and individual certification must be renewed every 5 years.
