The Lead Inspector training is for individuals seeking to perform lead-based paint inspections and/or clearance examinations on abatement and renovation projects. Individuals will learn to determine if lead-based paint is present.

2 days, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The Lead Risk Assessor training is for individuals seeking to perform lead-based paint hazard evaluation services, including risk assessments and lead hazard screens. This class will prepare students to perform on-site inspection, take samples, determine the severity of lead hazards, and develop lead hazard control plans.

1 week, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

This course provides information for those individuals who wish to perform lead-based paint inspections, risk assessments, and/or post-abatement clearance services. This class will prepare students to perform on-site inspection, take samples, determine the severity of lead hazards, and develop options for eliminating those hazards.

Maintain your accreditation as a lead inspector by attending an EPA approved refresher course. This course is required before your current EPA Lead Inspector certification expires. If you allow your current certification to expire, you must take the initial lead inspector course again.
