This 5-day course will address the safety issues relative to the general site workers as outlined in the standard 29 CFR 1910.120. The curriculum includes basic safety training, medical surveillance program, hazardous substance identification systems, chemical hazards communication program, protective clothing, respirator protection, site entry procedures, and decontamination and air monitoring equipment. The course will include lecture, demonstrations, practice sessions, and hands-on practical exercises with the opportunity to use the techniques and equipment.
